Todaydoes anybody know when thee changes will take affect?
Yes..but they will be underwritten by the new rules.can we use the old applications,
Yep, agreed!
1. They have been stricter lately about following their own medical questions and underwriting.
2. SNL NOW DOES TRUE SS BILLING. They did it in Nov and Dec. Mariana and I have verified this with a few clients. I didn't mention it earlier as I thought they were going to make a big announcement about it. The Jan 1st drafts all happened on Friday.
3. Their E-App freaking rocks. You know before you go and it's dummy proof. I finally used it and am a true believer. All Hail To The Mighty E-App! lol
4. Bipolar is finally Preferred and they got rid of that stupid question about Declines from other carriers.
5. Wrote a lot of people on Dialysis and with Hep C and bummed that we Can't do that with the Simple Security Plan any more!
Is it F2F?
Do you submit the business from the house capturing the IP address?
I hear you write some SNL.![]()
SNL says their business is supposed to be face to face. Even when using the eApp.
But I know of one call center that sells them over the phone. And I know Newby made SNL aware of it. But they are still doing it. I don't know if SNL is turning a blind eye or if the call center is denying it.
Many companies have different rules for different marketing groups. Nothing new or out of the ordinary. Most responsible carriers wont let just anyone market over the telephone, so they either grant exclusivity or have a meticulous vetting process. Im sure SNL is happy that they have a good call center selling their product through telesales, and didnt want any other IMOs feelings to get hurt so they brushed it under the rug.
