Social Security cost-of-living adjustment will be 8.7% in 2023, highest increase in 40 years

It could effect those who are grandfathered into lower part B, or duals, or medicaid / chip elig, or aca tax credits and CSR elig, etc

I wonder how much of the COLA will be offset by an increase in Medicare Part B premiums.

Every year the government gives with one hand and takes back with the other.

They ALREADY “took it back” in 2022 for a new experimental drug that was “supposed” to cure Alzheimer’s . This trickery is deceiving the public into thinking that they are getting a $5 decrease in 2023 when they ALREADY OVERPAID with the ridiculous ~ $20 overpayment.

You really think $170.10 is overpaying?

I do not. Every person on Medicare is grossly underpaying.

But, votes.
