When an associate agent leaves an agency, how should that agents clients be split among the owners in the agency? Should the book be split equally and each owner would only receive compensation for the specific clients they receive or should all owners assume equal ownership of all the clients of the departing agent?

If there is already a CSR, just give it all to the CSR to service. So I guess the equal ownership. Less hassle of picking this and that client.
