Can anyone confirm this is possible?

Got a lady in perfect health, no smoking, assuming weight's under control.

Says Senior Life gave her a $10k policy for $65 and change, issued a month ago.

Would have tried getting more information over the phone, but her grandson was phoning in from prison. With this market, sometimes you just can't tell if you're getting blown off or if this is the truth. LOL.

SL's $10,000 policy only pays $5,000 unless they die of an accident. They call it the 10/5 plan. To get a real $10,000 with SL you have to buy $20,000.

REALLY Newby?? Thats how they sell insurance to Seniors?? Do their agents actually tell that to the clients I wonder?? THATS SCANDALOUS!

Are you sure, Newby, that her policy would be as sh*tty as you described it?

I will forward you a letter they sent me when they thought I was a hot prospect. I bet you can't read it any other way than that it is $20,000 coverage. But verbally they glanced over that it's the 20/10 plan. "it pays $20,000 for anything except a NATURAL death" is exactly how they present it to their MARKS...um...I mean prospects.

very sad but true...I feel bad for all the policy holder's out there that have been misled

Don't understand the question.. That rate is not exceptional if she is in good health even if it is not a 10/5 plan.

Certainly seems possible. RNA is $58/mo for the same coverage. I dikdn't even look at others. That looks like a replacement just waiting for you to get there.
