Starting in Final Expense

You CAN lead with final expense. I've tried direct mail, but find it to be expensive. Telemarked leads with pre-screened heatlth ???'s have worked well. Then you call them back and make your own appointment. Don't ever go with pre-set appointments, those folks are in the business of selling expensive appointments, not insurance. I tried some of those, closed about 20%.
The key is this....You gotta get OUT OF THE CITY and be willing to work the hoods and woods.

Gipper can you give me an idea how good the telemarketing leads are? And which is the best company to use and the quality? Thank you very much

Super disappointed - just went with FE for the first time and went with Lincoln Heritage - I sold a great policy that would have given me a decent commission and now I find out they cap their advance commissions at $800 - who out there in the FE business does drops and does not cap their advances?

Just go back and resell it with Monumental, Settlers or Royal Neighbors. Make yourself a better commission AND give your client more value for their premium. Win-win!

Kick LH to the curb.

Any of them do mail drops? I like the access to that vs winging it alone for leads but a cap of $800? Unpleasant surprise....do all FE companies cap advances?

Some cap it, but the ones that do cap start around $2500. LH is the only one I know of that sets the bar that low.

What good are over priced leads when you sell a crap product? It's good for you that they cap at $800. Makes the chargeback a little easier when the policy is replaced.

You don't want a high cap with LH. You could NEVER outswim that tidal wave of chargebacks.

You are better off doing your own mail drops. Don't fall for that sucker stuff. They are just trying to make you dependent on them.
