Startup Costs For Telesales

With the internet, there's no longer a need for encyclopedias. Try again.

With the internet...there's no longer a need for door knockers.... ...just think every year a "younger" person becomes a "senior"...in 3-5 years all those 65 year olds were bsically brought up on computers....you can knock on the doors of all those 78 year olds all you want....;)

Door knocking isn't for the meek and it's not going away. If anything, it's coming back.[/QUOTE]

Why on EARTH would you believe door knocking is coming back? Ask any successful P&C agent working in the brick & mortar agency model and they'll tell you the biggest challenge they have is overcoming the trend in the insurance world of online and phone buying. The same is true for final Expense sales.

Couple that with a demographic that's becoming more and more comfortable using the internet and their smartphones to make purchases and we find ourselves with an ever increasing online market in the final expense industry.

Do you honestly think door knocking is making a comeback in 2019? The same market we are all selling to is the same demographic sharing every single fear mongering post on social media. They are becoming more and more comfortable doing things online and via phone because they're growing more and more paranoid about safety. These people don't want people showing up at their door trying to sell them anything - ESPECIALLY Final Expense life insurance that they forgot they were interested in three-four weeks ago when they filled out and returned that card advertising state-regulated programs that can pay for their burial. The ones that will let you in and listen are going to be pissed when they find out your card misled them into thinking the state was going to pay for it for them. You and I know the card wasn't meant to mislead but perception is reality and the prospect's perception is that they were misled.

Will drinking the Kool-Aid.

I'm drinking the kool-aid that's feeding my bank account. Door knocking drained my bank account.

Give me telesales with Digital Senior Benefits ANY DAY over door knocking. If dk works for you then great. I know what works for me and what did not work for me. Telesales works for me and therefore I'm a firm believer in it.

Tom at the door..."Knock Knock"....
Ms. Jones 75 years old..."who's there"....
Tom..."It's Tom"
Ms. Jones..."Tom who"....
Tom..."Tom from the State Senior Services Dept with your FREE goodies"...
Ms. Jones..."F off - my 45 year old out of work son told me no Final Expense salesman getting into my house"..."we already bought online - don't need you taking any of the fleas or bedbugs i'm nurturing out of the house"....
Tom..."but Ms. Jones - we can beat their price"....
Ms. Jones..."go beat off in your 100,000 mile jalopy"..

The DNC registry is phasing out telemarketing. Yes, I think door knocking is making a comeback. I see plenty of agents on here that have started.

Sure, some people get pissed off when you knock on their door. There aren' that many door knockers out there, so the ones that do have an advantage.

I lead with Med Supps and I don't do FE DM, so I don't use misleading cards. If someone lets me in...they aren't pissed. They know before they let me in what I'm there for.

I'm curious as to how you know "These people don't want people showing up at their door trying to sell them anything"? Could it be that someone has put that fear into your head?

Check out Digital Senior Benefits. I used to do face to face and what I found out is... SHOCKER... old people don't like when you show up unannounced. Don't let F2F agents fool you by telling you telesales doesn't work. IT ABSOLUTELY WORKS like a freaking charm.

Leads are really cheap and contracts are TOP NOTCH as well. For me telesales is EASY. I tried telling my last IMO that f2f in Louisiana just doesn't work and they didn't believe me. I failed miserably with them as a f2f agent but now that I'm doing telesales I'm on track, if I keep up my averages for 52 weeks, to gross $150,000 my first year.

Anyone who tells you that Final Expense telesales doesn't work either hasn't tried it or can't sell a toilet to a man with diarrhea and holding back a fart.
Why not? It's hotter than hell in Louisiana!
