I figured I might as well shop my case on here too. I have a 59 yr old male, NS, good ht/wt, had 2 stents put in within the last 3 or 4 yrs. The most recent was 13 months ago. He is also on 46 units of insulin. did not start taking insulin until he was older than 50. He had a bypass 6 years ago, which I don't think matters. He is on meds for hbp, diabetes, cholesterol and his heart pill, I don't remember what it was but it was only 1.. He has 5K with Colonial that he just purchased within the last 12 months paying $30 or $35 per month. :GEEK: Thank you. Thank you.

PS I am looking for immediate coverage.

Maybe American Memorial -- standard immediate coverage? Not completely sure -- the Insulin might be a knock-out.

Monu wouldn't work -- <24 circulatory surgery plus insulin = ROP.

Hate these kind of cases, don't you?

Just another guy who got a license in the past few months asking for help.

Rick

Actually I failed my first 4 attempts on the test. I am going to write this guy when I pass the exam, if he is still alive.

I looked at Monumentals app and it looks like he qualifies for graded with them. I could be wrong though.

He would have to check "YES" to Insulin and <24 months of circulatory surgery on Page 2, which results in a 2 Year ROP case.

I'll have to check again. I thought the insulin question was "did you take insulin prior to age 50".

combo of insulin diabetic & heart problems is a killer combination ... he's looking for immediate coverage and just aint gonna find it. A carrier would be foolish to offer immediate coverage ... look at graded policy or guaranteed.

Actually he wasn't looking for immediate coverage. He just asked if I could get him a better price. I figured somewhere out there had to be a company that would give him immediate. I guess I am off to find the best graded plan then....
