Steve Leads?

No doubt the steve leads when on sale for $7 or so can have a good return on equity. The problem is so many of them are from dirt poor people and 80 plus yr olds you must weed threw them and waste a ton of time to get to the good ones. I find the $20 human tm leads 100 times better to be honest. If you pay $17 for these leads you're crazy. It's not just about roi. If one can do $2k off 20 steve leads on sale for $7 thsts $140. I'd rather do $4k off $400 of human tm leads.Less roi but more net profit and less headache dealing with tons of low life.

I personally have had consistently BAD results with Thad's avatar leads.

HOWEVER, there are plenty of GOOD agents I work with and know of on the Forum that are consistently doing well with his leads.

Avatar leads are like every other lead source; give it a good "college try" (around 100 leads) to determine if the source is measurably and sustainably profitable.

If it isn't? Can the vendor and move to another source.

I guess it all depends on what part of the country you're in. It seems the Midwest to Kentucky is the best place and least saturated part of the country. Response rates for Dm and success with Steve leads seem to be the best around. A lot of middle class people and family values. In the south I bet prospects get 8-10 dm mailouts per month and in the Midwest it's probably 2-3. Response rates back that up.

My results have been up and down with these. My experience with any leads other than direct mail, I always do better when I call the folks instead of my appt setter. That being said, at the $7 price point they are a no brainer.

I do better with the Steve leads with my appt setter lol. I get so frustrated with the flakes, I think it comes across in my voice.

I think they are closer to $17 now...

Enhanced Steve / Jane is $17.50
Simple Steve / Plain Jane is $12.50

By enhanced, do you mean whether they ask age, smoking, etc. questions?

BTW, I was in two meetings this week where the prospect told me to answer a ringing phone as a practical joke on the caller and both times, I answered a call from Jane. Both were on Namenda so no harm no foul. :-)
