Test for Trans

I wrote an app on a guy who is on various medications: plavix, on 10 plus years. Gabapentin: diabetic nerve pain. Oral diabities: taken for around 10 years. Isosprbine: 10 plus years. Says he's had various heart stents but all after 2 years. He also said you took ribarvin over 10 years ago and has been off it for way over 2 years. I wrote this as preferred. You guys think it will go through? Thanks!

I see this as preferred. As someone else stated. Fill out the supp page. Isosorbide has flown through many times for me. The hepatitis drug won't be an issue if it hasn't been filled in nearly 10 years

The combo of Carvedilol AND isosorbide screams CHF. Lethal with most carriers!

Yeah. I just talked to an underwriter and she said minus the hep c drug to submit it as preferred. Hep c is black or white and it doesn't matter if there is or is not treatment. It just matters if it is active or inactive. I called him today and he told me the hep c has been inactive for over 10 years. This would make my day if trans approves.

If he fills out the supplemental app correctly and lists 10 plus yrs of usuage on most of these I say preferred. But if contradictory mib activity show up it could change everything. I've got things issued preferred with trans that boggle me. I think trans knows must of this stuff won't be on the books in 5 yrs.

Have you gotten anything like this through?

Wrong about hep c, I talked to UW at Trans, doesn't matter how long ago last treatment was, if client wasn't CURED from Hep. C with radiation, its considered still has Hep. c, if cured, then time frame of Meds come in to play.

Just an FYI on Hep C: Liberty Bankers will take them if they are in treatment on their Standard rates (immediate benefit). I'm not sure on if they've had treatment in the past resulting in an undetectable viral count.

I get those all the time and sometimes issued as applied and other times not. They saw something on the mib or rx check not put down
