From Jan 1st to April 15th, Illinois had 217,000 enroll in private plans and 287,000 enroll in Medicaid. I wonder if other Medicaid expansion states are seeing ass-backward numbers like this?

CoveredCA enrolled something like 1.2 million in the exchange and over 2 million in Medi-CAL. Roughly 1/4 Californians are on Medi-CAL now

How many are legal immigrants?
AC has a good point. I don't know the exact figures right now, but it was something like 35% of docs in GA accepted Medicaid & SCHIP patients.
What good is Medicaid expansion if no doctor sees Medicaid patients?
Why physicians are hesitant to take Medicaid patients
We can't simultaneously starve a government program of adequate resources and then complain that the program can't pull its weight.
Wow. any idea what percentage of family physicians in California accept medi-cal Medicaid? There are only 6 in my county of 400,000 residents.
I dont have recent numbers available. In July 2010 it was 57% according to chcf.org but that was in answer to the question "Is your office treating Medi-CAL patients?" I've seen estimates around 30% but I'd love to see a reliable study.
