My first car was a 1972 Camaro. I bought it (my money, my dad's name) when I was 14. I wasn't done building it when I got my license, so I bought a '74 Pinto as my daily driver.

I also had a '77 pinto with a four speed that I used to race against other Pinto driver's on a little dirt track a farmer let us put in one of his unused fields until he found out about us. Then he wouldn't let us race there anymore.

I wish I still had that Camaro.

But I also wish I still had one of those two Pintos.

Once in a while a rocker arm would come loose and just lay there on top of the head. I'd pullover, take off the valve cover, slide the rocker arm back under the cam shaft, and before you knew it I'd be on the road again lol.
