There Has to Be an Easier Way!

Really sounds too good to be true. If the task of an agent will be this easy then I guess I will not have to work harder for a bigger income. In this business there is a relationship with hate and love because we have to invest money and effort in order to harvest the what we have planted.

I really don't see any part of it that "sounds too good to be true". It's all about knowledge, working smarter not harder and the ability to build relationships. Anything is easy when one is well prepared.

I don't see the "hate" part of what you are talking about. There isn't a business on earth that has become successful without investing in the business, both time and money.

If putting forth the effort is considered part of the "hate" you are talking about then the agent needs to get out of this business. I enjoy my job and the time I spend doing it. If an agent isn't passionate about what they do then they will most probably not be successful.

Do most of your Senior clients stick with the same med supp for six years? And if they don't and you switch them to a different carrier, does the "6 years of 1 st yr commission" start again?

I've been informed by several sources that over the course of ten years the retention is about 85%. And yes, the comp would start again upon switching them over.

Did you go to college? Do you shop?

If yes, didn't you have to invest money and effort before you got a degree? Don't you have to pay before you get the item/items that you want?

Why should your career be any different?

As Earl Nightingale says "you have to put the wood in before you get the heat."
