wellcare value pdp application in pending

client self enrolled in wellcare value 0 premium for 11/1 on medicare .gov and he used wrong election code so it is pending since 10/30 and he can't through to wellcare(said he waited on hold 90 minutes last time) and when he does get someone on the phone shocker he can't understand what they are saying and i sure as hell ain't getting on the phone with wellcare to wait it out..client started part A 4/1/24 and part B 11/1/24 and dropped eghp 10/31 so should have used sep loss of eghp but used another election instead.he doesn't take any meds so doesn't care about starting 12/1 or even 1/1/25 since he has 63 days before LEP would start.question if another app is submitted for 12/1 while app for 11/1 is still pending will that go through or should he just wait the 30 days until 11/1 effective date application expires to submit another application.?

I would write a different company. Explain to them that you can’t help with WellCare, they are a mess. Next.

Don't know what Wellcare is doing or know anything about their application status, but that app should already be dead. Plans only have 7 calendar days from application receipt to submit the enrollment to CMS or deny it.

I would advise them to submit a new application and hope for the best if they insist on staying with Wellcare.
