Tired of selling insurance

Frankly, I'm tired of selling insurance everyday, but I'm not giving up the gig, as I have others doing most of the work for me. However, anybody have any other great ideas for making some cash without spending 80 hrs a week on it?????? Please, no goofie internet scams

Build a team and show them how to sell AND build a team themselves - you earn by teaching them . . .

Yeah, that is what I do know with my insurance biz. I just want to do something else while they are selling insurance because I personally don't enjoy the sales part. I enjoy building the team and the biz.

Again, you're working it a bit backwards. You need to model a business after your talents...which we don't know.

I'm only working it backwards on my post here. I really don't want to list all my talents. Seems a bit cocky. I'm good at running and growing businesses. I'm actually good at sales, but I don't enjoy it much and therefore lose interest in it quickly or can't motivate myself to do it day in and day out.

I guess I was curious what the rest of you might be doing to make money besides just selling insurance. Are none of you doing multiple things? I own a plumbing company as well and have poured five years into that, but once again, I'm getting restless and looking to move into something else.

I'm curious as well about how you use a llama as a guard animal? :skeptical:

We raise full-blood, registered South African Bore show goats. We don't show them but sell them to people who do. It is just a hobby and we really don't do it for the money but a very good quality doe can sell for as much as $750. Most sell between $275 to $400. They are worth protecting aside from the fact that they are pets.

In areas where predators are common goats and sheep need some kind of animal to protect them. When we got rid of the llama we got a Great Pyrenees puppy. He is six months old and weighs about 90 pounds and still growing.

Llamas are very protective of animals like sheep and goats. They will attack and try to kill dogs, coyotes, even some of the larger predators like mountain lions if "their" flock is threatened. Their front hooves are very pointed and whatever they strike with them will tear huge gashes in the critter.

They also spit a huge luggie as a sign of aggression and are quite accurate with it. Their breath is horrible.

Sounds to me like you could be a consultant to people who are looking to start a business. There are a lot of ambitious people out there looking to start a business and haven't the faintest clue on how to start.

I appreciate the suggestion. Never considered that, but it is a good idea.

I'd be rich if I spent 80 hours per week selling insurance... What lines do you sell?

I don't spend 80 hrs on insurance. What I meant is i have plenty irons in the fire and need something that I can do with the remaining time that I have.

I sell life, health, auto, fire, mutual funds and bank products.
