The biggest "harasser" I've encountered so far was a potential mortgage protection client. He was a body builder who kept texting pics of him prancing around in his skivvies and after I told him I wasn't interested, he suddenly didn't have a "wife" who needed insurance.

A couple of men asked if my husband "minded" if I went to other peoples homes, one twirled my hair in front of his wife, and a wife or two told me their husbands were "good" men (like I asked?). The craziest stories were at low-income homes with loony tunes females, furious they were only partial duals who couldn't get the same plans as the neighbors with full bennies who got to shop from the UHC catalog. I was kicked out, spit on, given the evil eye and chased down the street a few times.

I don't know, we have a growing handful of badass ladies here at EFES that can sell circles around most of the "fellas" I've come across.

I used to ascribe to some of the aforementioned preconceived notions in this thread, but I think we are going to continue see more and more women stake their claim at the top of the final expense leaderboard.

I guess a lot of it is just more old school thinking. If the female is a take no prisoners, succeed at whatever cost type she's prolly packing heat anyways so there's no issue lol.

BUT, at the end of the day we have the ability to put filters on the leads anyhow. So if there's a certain neck of the woods she'd prefer not to work she can simply take it off of her list and exclude that zip code in her lead order.

I sell MS over the phone or by referral, outside of AEP when I do seminars for a regional Blues carrier. DSNPSs and FE in person. The area I live in (Bucks County, PA) is nice for the most part, with a few rough areas I know to avoid. I learned the hard way to avoid Reading at all costs, Norristown and parts of Allentown and Bethlehem in the surrrounding counties from people who live there. A male agent who works the SNP market in those areas gave me some tips on safety, which were helpful.

Starting today, I'm going to try an experiment with my dialer for a couple of weeks to call a scrubbed list of those 68-74 in a five-county area (one in Central NJ as it's right across the bridge) to see if I can save them money on their overpriced MS. I'll set appointments to see if I can save them money on their MS and cross sell them FE.

I love how this thread immediately turned into a recruiting/marketing opportunity. lol Some folks never change.

Yes, my wife Mariana qualified for a convention in her first year. Now she is only in the field 3-4 days a month and still makes six figures. I try to get her to stop selling, especially since that 80 year old guy pulled a gun on her last year, but she likes having her clients and her renewals.

It all comes down to work ethic. Some got it, some don't!

I will second this notion. I have had written that would never make a single sale submitsubmi 20k in a month in my call center.

My wife has been an agent for over 20 years selling MedSup and MAPD. She doesn't go to clients homes alone unless she knows them.

As for the OP, if your already going into these homes and aren't concerned then I would say to watch the videos regardless of what gender makes them and rock it out
