Travis Tubbs Interview Part 2

Ok please tell me how you can run 11 appointments in a day, I have got to hear this.

Even if they are in just one project it will take more than a day to run these.

I didn't say run, I said scheduled. The most I've ever had kept in one day was 9. That's back when I was with NAA. Hell of a day. I started wishing for no shows.

Wrote 14 apps that day. Anywhere from $15/mo up to $200/mo.

I really don't want another one like it though.

11 appts = 2 porched. 9 sits. 6-7 apps.....that's how I do it.

Working 9am to 7pm. Typical hard working day in the field. If you are not doing it, than you are not maximizing your potential. This is a business that if you bust your butt 2-3 days in the field you make more money than most people.

Absolutely right!!! I typically don't eat lunch on days I run appts. I'm in work mode. I don't take breaks and walk around Walmart or Lowes.

When I'm working I do all things with Purpose!!! I walk to my car and to the house with purpose. I drive with purpose. My presentation has purpose. All with one objective to reach my Goal. My wife calls it my Terminator mode.

Ok so Big lesson learned is that scheduled is not what is actually runned.

Just keep it real guys and you will make an awesome living for yourselves.

Same here. No lunch break or any kind of break on appointment days.

There was a guy working for AAA in Evansville, In that was new to the business. he kept offering to take me to lunch when I was working the Evansville area. He seemed to get offended that I wouldn't take a lunch break.

I do have a cooler in the car and a few light snacks for the between appointment drives.

That's another reason I don't work my home county. It's much easier to get off track when you ar near home and much easier for family to ask you run an errand since you out anyway.

Thanks Travis for the interview. I liked how you just ask if $100 would fit in their budget. I used to just guess based off our conversations and usually offered a $30, $40 and a $50 option. Now I've started at $100 and my average AP for 3 sales is $75 in AP/mo.

That's awesome!!! There are many advantages to that approach and just one is higher premiums. I am looking forward to working with you, and being on our conference calls.

It is easier to go down than it is to go up. I was trained when selling 403(b) plans to show the maximum allowed....So years ago when the max was 10,500 I would say The maximum you can contribute is $403 per pay period which would affect your take home pay by $267 per pay or what ever the numbers worked out to. I was pleasantly surprised with how many didn't blink at the numbers...I would then do a down sell to make sure they could afford those numbers as nothing is worse than putting the funds and locking them up and needing them 2 months down the road.

Yeah, when are we starting those?

Good interview you had with Newby. What are some of the other advantages of casually asking if $100 fits in their budget.

Easier to go down then up? I would say it's damn near impossible to go up... Although I did it today, it's an extreme rarity!
