I see were family benefit won't accept replacement business in Ky . Any other CO's not accept replacement in ky . So if you replace a 1 year old policy with kskj can they contest the claim for 1 year ?

Yes, and I have to compete with them as they are offered by a very large credit union in my area. Sold by banks and little to no explanation is given to the client.
One of the more affective ways to beat it down is to ask the question, "Mildred, what's your agents name?" Then lead from there.
Not the easiest replacement in the field... if it is warranted.
I've never had a problem replacing it.
it's well priced for smokers. But I can beat it.
The clean sheeted ones can be tough because you're talking to the person that clean sheeted it.
But if they just "misunderstood" then those are easy too.
The ones that know it was clean sheeted and just willing to gamble are a lost cause.
But I don't want them as clients anyway.
You replace with Kskj . There rates 25% under avg . Trustage actually has better rates than 95% of all fe CO's .My friend writes a lot with kskj and was at key west . He loves eapp . He said now with eapp stuff like lupus that was getting rated at standard is now many times getting preferred because eapp asks additional questions and issues preferred. My friend has also had a ton of claims with them which is understandable because they have some of the lowest rates coupled with most lenient underwriting. Just like all said with Trans . Either you tighten the underwriting big or you raise the rates . One of the two coming but write it to the end .
The sky is not falling. Trans was never a good option. And I'm not scared either.
But you are wrong on just replacing with KSKJ. I was replacing that crap long before I even had KSKJ. Trinity and RNA fu both beat the Trustage smoker rates. Lifeshield beats it. SLAC beats it.
Agents don't have to have KSKJ to beat them.
Are you writing Lifeshield ? What's street ? Easy to work with ? Lenient UW ? Niche company ?

Com'on Jd . You ain't getting 90% of stuff approved with lifeshield or slac you get thru with kskj .Rna and Trinity fu much stricter than most fe CO's .Neither lifeshield or slac takes di and that's 75% of fe . There underwriting 5 times as strict . To get underwriting near kskj it's rna and possibly accendo and American memorial lenient . But those rates 25-30% more than kskj .Only other possibility is Trinity and they've tightened up big and grill the crap out of client on phone interview .
