True Stage

There is no phone interview on Trinity fu. And trustage is stricter than FU.

If a person qualifies for trustage they almost always qualify for fu.

I don't have the problems with approvals with all these companies that you seem to have.

RNA was my goto for 6 years. My placement was always well over 90%. Same when Trinity was my goto.

My placement with KSKJ is 98%. That's the highest I've ever had with any company. And I write quite a bit of FU with KSKJ.

Probably 20% or more of my KSKJ business is FU.

I don't remember but 1 decline on Trinity FU.

I rarely write LS. I don't write SLAC at all anymore.

Neither does anything that KSKJ won't do.

of course the clean sheeted Trustage that I see are more trouble. But most people want it corrected once it's explained.

The ones that don't are just not the type of clients I want to deal with.
On the FU are you writing ages and amounts that require an exam? +

Sometimes. Just depends on how adverse to an exam the client is.
Guess I am the one adverse to it now and not the clients. Have to confess it has been several years since I have had to get anyone examined but I use to tell them, "BTW you get a free physical exam and it won't cost you a single penny." Don't know that I ever had anyone object even back in the 70s and 80s when almost everyone we wrote had to be examined.

I just had a lady in Clarksville, Tn take an exam.

I probably could have gotten the exam waived but she was good with it.

I generally find the ones totally opposed to an exam think they can hide something.

They can't.

I'm shocked that got issued with LS.

She has 2 Moo graded policies. 1 issued 03/21 for 7k $40.42 and one issued 07/22 for 10k $56.87.

The client sheeter sold her day 1 20k for $91.85 a month which sounded like a good deal for her until we go customer service on the phone and I asked the representative about the health questions. The rep was very helpful, explained that a claim would be denied and assisted on policy cancellation,it was set to draft 09/03.

Are you running into agents doing this to your people?

Don't you work many states face to face? When you get an nsf and they don't answer the phone do you send a letter? Many people won't answer the phone . Being local i just show up at the door.

All the time. Especially with AmAm. I don't think amam does any underwriting at application.

Yes I do and yes I did the first couple years in the biz but here's what I learned. Good payers that nsf usually call me ahead of time and we get it straight, set it to double draft the following month. I don't chase down nsf's anymore,I have learned I'm better off buying more fresh leads and spending my time writing better quality biz rather than chasing down bad biz. Upside…..my persistency has improved.

Their E-App picks up nearly all the meds and then some that I check prior to using them.

They also have Covid questions that are an addendum at the end. A yes to any of them gets no decision, goes to further UW for a closer look.

They are a lot like Trans. They will take meds level that rate/decline a policy elsewhere if they have been prescribed more than 3 years. Trans 2 years.

Nitro,Isosrbide is a decline with RNA but Am Am will take it level if they have been prescribed 3 years.

They have also surprised me with declines I didn't expect so I do feel they UW my applications,no doubt.

I understand they're a little high in comparison to what you use. I understand they are hard to work with, don't know what they are doing in comparison to companies you use.

My experience is completely positive with them.

Maybe it's because I can't compare them to who/what you are writing?
