UHC 2025 First Looks....

Part DPlans
UnitedHealthcare will be participating in the recently announced Part D Premium Stabilization Demonstration. As a result, our Part D 2025 standalone members will have a premium increase of no more than $35 compared to 2024 and some members will have a premium decrease. Attend one of our local rollouts to get the details for your market.

Plus, maxing out at $2,000. That's a win for the consumer.
I’m unable to log in with the information. It is overloaded!

The AZ plans I've looked at so far are definitely taking a turn for the worse. Hospital copays and Rx deductibles are JUMPING!

Are they pay commission

UHC now has full benefits listed on MAPD plans. In my area the HMO-POS plan is almost identical. PPO plan too.

So much for the world crashing, at least with UHC on MAPD.
No but for instance in some areas they came out with a premium paying csnp that gives $80 a month more food card than the csnp last yr . It costs $40 a month and has full $595 part d deductible . Also nationwide United has come up with new dsnp for Fdbe , qmb plus , and slmb plus( full Medicaid) . The food card is $60-$100 more a month . They left the qmb’s ( which is probably 70% of all full Medicaid ) on the cut benefits older plan . Like I said chaos coming to bigger books. The movement in plans will be historical nationwide .No more sitting on fat renewals yr after yr . You’ll have to move people .

Yup. Uhc got better here too or stayed the same in most places. It’s weird to see uhc with a part B giveback plan. Only $8 on their hmo-pos and $12 on their CSNP. But they have never had one here before.

The sky is falling!

How you going to handle at those $350-$595 deductibles on all plans now ? Also the devils in the details . Every market nationwide I’ve looked at United came out with new plans to siphon off existing plans . What city in Fla you work ? Isn’t it Orlando ?

Most of my UHC clients have the HMOPOS and it doesn’t require referrals.

They did to a $175 deductible on brand name drugs.
If they want to move, I’ll let them know I have other HMOs with referrals and small networks with no brand name DED.

I’m in orlando. Their new HMO is a joke. I’m not sure why anyone would want the careflex credit for a considerable worse plan overall.

I just looked the plan you’re speaking of UHC FL -007 hmo pos . You forgot to mention it’s GOT NO DENTAL outside covered bs cleanings . They took the dental away to not rip the other benefits . You got a good csnp . Perfect example of what United’s done nationwide to anyone who writes duals. 60-70% of the country with full Medicaid is qmb . United nationwide has come out with dsnp plans paying $75-$100 more a month for dsnp’s that are fdbe, qmb plus and slmb plus .

Oh no! Only dental cleanings? Don, I don’t sell on dental. It doesn’t say that they won’t cover more than just cleanings but you might be right.

My clients chose this plan based on their network and great benefits. As we all know, plans will take a little step back next year.
Hi Mr. Johnson, you want more dental, what would you like to give up?
I’m not sure how this is different than any other year.
I’ve seen plans get worse in the past. You’re just new to this Don and have never experienced it so you’re freaking out.

Ok you admitted it . Things will change as I’ve been saying . And I have been through change . Last yr Humana raised Specialist copays , reduced dental and took otc away on many plans . I moved none . The problem this yr is everyone of my clients went to the pharmacy and never paid more than $47 per medicine the first 3-5 months in 2024. . Now this $300-$595 hits month 1 and many plans have 25% copays . Moops or per day hospital didn’t change much . It’s getting busted with $590 in Jan which is a problem
