Underwriting a Pregnant Woman

If you were meeting with a husband/wife who need insurance and the wife was pregnant, would you wait to insure her until after she had the baby? If not, what company would be good for a pregnant woman as far as underwriting goes? What's the best rating she can get? Definitely a term case, maybe a need for IUL/WL

Pregnancy is not an underwriting factor until the third trimester. Get them the coverage immediately.

That being said, with pregnancy being a non-factor, weight gain, diabetes, elevated liver function, etc. Will not get her a pass.

Underwrite it as is.
