I love this thread I use a very specific cheap pen from Walmart and buy 20-50 at a time. They are ballpoint retractable with the "clicker" in the clip. 1000+ of them and I still have no idea what brand they are?

What type of writing instrument do you chose to use? Do you have a favorite type of pen you use each and every day?

I ask this question because I was without my new favorite type of pen the other day... and had to purchase a new one before I felt fit to go into the field.

I use a Pentel InerGel with the newer, faster drying gel ink.

I would highly recommend to anyone. I love a heaver pen that writes smoothly but does not smug. It's a head thing for me, so I have used many different ones over the years but found this one in the last year or so and love it. I also get a fair amount of compliments as well.

I looks professional... and it keeps people from staring at my bald head.

It really doesn't matter that much, but a fun way to look at it is the cheaper you buy your pens, the higher the ROI. If your pen is free, then theoretically your ROI is infinite.

That was one of my favorites for a while, I used the Dr. Grip but with a .5mm for a more bold look, but it smugged too often.
