Im in Texas.... thats just the view from one Texan. And we have the pool, all my comments should always only apply to people in Texas, so many plans and laws are different in other states that I never want my comments to apply anywhere but Texas. A plan that stinks in Texas might be great in Florida

Here in La. it is 631.10 per month with a 1000 deduct 100000 per year max. for my age group standard rates. For a person making say 60k per year with a mortgage,carnote,homeowners,car ins.,groceries etc. UA may be the only alternative.

Maybe an alternative is to look for a job that provides health benefits.

Granted. There's also running your own business and writing yourself a group plan but I do understand that some people are simply screwed - which is why changes are needed.

And I lived in LA for two years - Brea. So I know how brutal it is.
