I have no knowledge, or opinion of Encino Insurance Group. When I contacted the Mgr. again to see about going to work for him(and I am already licensed) he seemed upset that I posted a thread requesting information about them. He said he is surprised that I want to work for them since I am skeptical (or something to that affect). I emailed him back that I am not skeptical, but trying to gather as much information as I can to make an informed decision. He never called me back to come work for his office. I was very perplexed and surprised to get that type of reaction.
From your post, it sounds like you may be more suited for an employee/job situation. If you feel like you are "going to work for someone", that's a prescription for disaster in this business. You are going to work for YOU.
Some years back, I was interviewing a gal for an agent position with a major insurance company. Her first concern (and question) was about when her health insurance would start. The interview was over.
