Eric and Ben own it

I would bet it ain't simply that simple. For example, think about this:

Chase is in no hierarchy. Montrelle was direct to EFES. And i'm not in between anyone. Me and Eric are partners.

Which begs the question as to why Chase is able to pocket this guy's release request ad infinitum? Whose name needs to be on the release? Chase? Ben? Eric?

I get that this was probably not the best way to go about getting the release signed. In fact, if it were me, I would have first wrote an email to Chase, Eric, and Ben, strongly implying that if I do not get this release in a timely manner, I'm taking it to the forum and to every FE Facebook group and I will comment about the troublesome release process in every EFES Facebook post. That would be where the leverage would have been. By going to the forum direct, the OP spent his powder, and instead of striking a fatal blow, merely angered the beast, so to speak.

And I reiterate, imho there are a lot of good folks at EFES and I my experience with EFES leaves me of the opinion that EFES itself is, by and large, a fine organization for the new agent. And I will always hold that Baseball7 is the best upline I never had. But I do believe that the captive "independent" agent model sucks for the agent in many respects, and what we see here in this thread is the most glaring example of that fact.

Having said that, one more thought: The most important decision a new agent has is this: Does the guy right above you, who is responsible for your success, a match for you?

Has he/she done what you want to do? If so, then ...

Has he/she taught others to do what he has done? If so, then ...

Does he/she have a personality and a communications style that you feel comfortable with? If so, then you probably should get yourself some contracts with that upline and get to work learning and working.

If there is no match with respect to the prospective upline's personality/style, then move on. No matter how good he/she is, it will not work for you long term. Which is why EFES should just cut the OP loose. At this point, there is no saving the relationship, and the sooner they cut him his releases, the sooner this post disappears from the most active threads list at the forum.
