Just to bring everyone up to speed on USHealth and what they are selling, I thought I would chime in. There is a small life policy option on the health plans that goes up to about 100k. The MEDGuard is optional also, but you can't get both the life and the MedGuard. The higher association gets you an additional accident plan. When you write about 20k you get an "E pen" in which to write your business on encoded apps. You then dock the pen and send your apps to the home office without faxing. Lastly, you're a free range bird, not a caged chicken. Here are some of the brochure links...

yes, mutual of omaha is a fairly safe bet for professionalism and training.
they got out of the major med market but as far as I know, they have brokerage partnership to write { maybe bcbs, I think} for the major med deal. the main deal they want to sell is disability and life. leads are good, training is good.

Why would anyone want to get INTO health plan marketing today?

After Obama gets elected, we'll have 3, 4 years tops left of being able to sell anything outside of Aflac type plans.

In the meantime, if you see the initials NFL and there isn't a football around, run like hell and don't look back.

NFL/Freedom = E&O company's worst night mares

Heck, I'd sell Golden Rule before those gooberheads.

Virtually every company mentioned in this thread lacks one critical ingredient: CREDIBILITY.

My suggestion is to hook up with one of the many agencies marketing via internet. Just be sure they're using quality, tier 1 companies. (there are only about 5 or so of those companies, depending on your state)
