If you are doing tax business depending on your client base you can add Life, Annuity, Disability, etc products. Another option could be to get a series 65 securities license.

I would think there is gold in your file cabinets with those 1040s.

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. My advice: Go indy, get a 65, hook up with a good FMO/RIA, mine those file cabinets, learn how to market financial services. Profit!

If I were you I would join wfg. The services that are offered are not wfg services, but as brokers they represent over 75 different companies which wfg provides for clients which gives wfg a huge advantage over Primerica. The main reason why wfg has a bad reputation is because they are fairly new compared to primerica, merrill lynch, and morgan stanley

Oh boy. We've got another one!

To put WFG in the same sentence as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley... shows a vast amount of ignorance of the financial services industry. Which basically means that you shouldn't be giving anyone any kind of "career advice".

Take your Series 7 & 66 licensing exams first. That'll enlighten you on how these firms operate.
