I use Evernote obsessively in my practice. It took some time to get used to it, but it really is the best thing in the history of the world...or close to it.

Sam, in what ways do you utilize Evernote? I've used it for projects, but I'd like to expand its use for me.
I envision Sam has the Note, a larger smart phone, and he obsessively takes notes on it that then syncs with his laptop.

I tried OneNote but since I'm an apple user, it wasn't for me despite really wanting to make it work. I think the big obstacle there is Outlook & Word (huge fan of both) were also not integrated when I opted out & went for Evernote instead. Apple's Notes app for ios is greatly improved but haven't tried it much yet.

OneNote is free now, so it wouldn't hurt to take another look. According to the site, it's on nearly every platform now. (I don't see anything for Linux though.)
