What Do You Do when You Don't Have

As much as it pains me to say, Yoda is right. This is pretty crappy. How do you think it makes the person you are calling to be hung up on? Have you ever wondered why cold calling gets harder each year? This is part of the reason why.

That would depend on your contact ratio.

I get about 100 dials an hour.

And it also has this feature, where if someone picks up a line while you are on with someone else it will play this recording, which sounds like you have a bad connection or something, and it says I will try you back.

Also If you get someone on the line , you can hu on the other 2 lines.

Well 99% of the time there isn't anyone on those other lines.

I can say using the dialer to call internet leads, only 10% ever answer the phone on average.

We shall see with cold calling.

Again, nice of you to put something valuable out there yoda. Uh btw, Im not Cold calling residential (for seniors), i call small businesses. And I dont care, do you piss and whine when you open your email box and see spam in there? Do you stay up late at night wondering if someone will be caught for such a transgresssion? Get real. I save people alot of money on their health insurance. Nope I dont feel bad about hanging up on a few. The dialer goes through 115 calls per hour, with hanging up after the fifth ring, getting some vmails in the mix. I actually end up speaking to about 30 people an hour, one is a lead, 2-4 are in the pipeline.
I have to laugh at the irony of you blasting everyone on this forum and then telling us we are p.o.s. for hanging up on 4 people an hour cold calling to save some lucky guy 1k-2.5k a year on his health insurance by the fourth or fifth lead.

Yoda, does the sytem just hang up on the other people, or what? Is it a CRM or not? Do you haver to dial 3 lines at a time? Nobody else answer, I want to see if this dude knows what he is talking about or he is simply fill of crap.

DO NOT PUT THE MONEY ON CREDIT CARDS!!!! If you want to invest the $400.00, sign up for MOJO and work the phone for a few months; Your return on investment(ROI), will be far greater.Why start out in the hole. Get a list and cold call. The first FE policy I sold was to the lady at the counter of my dry cleaners. As a matter of fact, that was my first policy.

It's no fun being in your postion but there is a way out but it will cost you 60-70 hours a week. COLD-CALL!!!

A dialer CAN be expensive. You really don't have to have one. Just use the house/cell phone...for little to no expense. Works for me, cause I'm not talented enough to talk to 2 people at a time.
And you do need a targeted list. Will probably cost you around $50. Try western resource marketing.

With the family growing, you could use some inexpensive marketing and sales....good luck!

Ditto 5pill. Don't get a dialer if you're short on money. As a matter of fact, I don't have one and I do fine with just my finger. Cheap and relatively efficient. If you're getting to the point where you feel like you need to talk to more people an hour, then you can invest in one then.

Nope, you don't have to have a dialer.

You can add my name to that list also. I put my finger in the hole and turn the wheel. I've sold a lot of Med Supps in the last sixteen years doing it that way.

That is so more efficient than turning the crank and telling the "phone lady" the number I want to call.
