What Do You Want in a Lead Company??

thank you everyone for some of the feedback. let me give you a little more insight on our vision.

A customer goes on our website to find a legitimate verified provider. Their info is then matched with traits, skills, location etc from you the provider. This client is matched with 3 providers and 3 providers only. You make contact with the client through our system so we can monitor the flow. The client can choose who they want to work with. They just know the ones selected are the ones best suited for them. You will have a personal/work profile so they know all about you from work experience, the company you work for, even what you like to do for fun. You keep updating our system with made contact, sent quote, closed etc. Client can then write a review on your service for other clients to see.

another kicker why this will be successful. The customer pays for our service too. They get other services that we offer also. So no bogus clients or tire kickers. This translates into a much higher closing ratio for you providers. Only thing we don't have nailed down is cost. We are thinking a monthly memebership to providers like $20-25 per month. Then a per lead fee. I don't like using the word "lead" as these are customers. Maybe $10-20+ per lead. That again goes to only 3 agents. We want this to be a very personal service. Basically a match maker for consumers and providers.

This is the skinny on the vision and scope. Additional feedback from you guys would be great!

It will fail. No consumer is going to pay you for a service that is readily available for free elsewhere, plus there is zero credibility to the service, so the first question consumer will ask is "what makes your service worth paying for?"

First of all pay by the hour and don't get leads go for preset appointments. Be involved in all the process pick your SIC codes counties business size and your script. Make sure all the information being gathered is yours when you leave and most of all make sure they have integrity. NO contracts if they do what they say why do you need a contract? For personnel lines make sure you are getting what you pay for, if the firm you hire calls a DNC you can be liable so I highly recommend cold calling for personnel lines yourself if not you are inviting trouble because it is so hard to get an appointment on.

Actually it will work. They get other services not just one their are more aspects to the website. Secondly I am a consumer and former LO and insurance agent. People get tired of filling out info online only to have 50 phone calls of used car salesmen types calling them wanting their business. Customers will gladly pay for a credible person to walk them through any process with a good experience. Better to pay someone a small amount rather than pay much more in the long run for a bad service.

The funds to create the credibility is not an issue. I just want to know in an ideal, perfect world what would make you service providers happy.

yeah....but consumers "perceive" value in the above brands....but that was only after millions were spent to build that brand.

In this case, I'm guessing that the $$$ will not be spent to build the brand, enough agents will not buy in, which will lead to the same 3 agents "matched" on every case, and agents will communicate through this system with potential prospects, and update it like a crm???

This one is DOA.

Money will absolutely be used to build the brand.

And of course providers will be signing up. They will want to see something new and something that works. Even if no cost to the consumer we are flexible to make the vision work.

Thus me trying to get feedback from people in all industries. What do you want to see, what will you use. What dont you like etc. There is a HUGE market from something like this. For every good provider and experience a customer has their are atleast 5+ bad ones. Let's cut down that bad number and increase the good ones.
