A lot of it is selling yourself, whatever you wear. Be personable. Your client needs to believe and trust what you tell them and confident that what they are buying is what they want, not what you want them to buy.

Excellent post! So many agents either don't realize that or have forgotten it.

I have seen many agents fail in this business and one of the main reasons is that they try to sell the policy and not themselves. An agent can be much more successful learning how to educate the prospect about insurance and sell themselves.
