What should you do?? QUit? Life coach?? Sales classes??
If you work hard at it you won't suck. You will do fine. I find that those who suck at it are those who don't work at it. Instead of going out and finding clients they buy leads (mostly worthless) or they spend ALL their time going to networking events (chamber, rotary, charities etc.) and hope for referrals.
Unless you are a (local) celebrity, it ain't gonna happen.
If you won't do the work of prospecting you WILL suck at this. But if you spend 180 minutes out of a 1440 minute day calling businesses on the phone seeking clients, you will do fine.
You may not LIKE the business... but you won't suck at it if you work it.
The only place where "success" comes before "work"... is in the dictionary.
Well, let's see. I've been in this business now over seventeen years. I still buy leads (although I try to avoid the "mostly worthless" kind). On the leads I have purchased this year, I have enjoyed a 688% return on my investment.Instead of going out and finding clients they buy leads (mostly worthless)
