What Should FE Lady Agents Wear?

Hooray for this site! I have gotten a wealth of knowledge and I can't wait for the day when I am offering valuable advice on this site as well.

I hope this does not sound like a crazy question, but what should female agents wear when meeting with FE prospects?

I know it is suggested that men wear a polo shirt and slacks. And women should not be dressy, or revealing, or wear flashy jewelry. But what else? Are there any FE agents on this site that are women? If so, what are your go-to outfits when you are going out in the field?

I generally wear business casual. Occasionally wear jeans-as long as they look good. Jewelry & makeup not flashy. I feel that if you dress up too much , it puts off the prospects.

I also dress cool-meaning not wearing heavy sweaters in the winter-because many older people tend to keep their homes very warm.

Bustier and short skirt! Get their blood pressure up so they realize the need to get insurance quick! Distracts from premiums too!

I think I'm the avg guy. I have tons of people knock on my door trying to sell me something everyday.

I have to admit, that I'm willing to allow more women than guys try and sell me something.


People judge you on many different factor.

They can think you are too young, too old, and many other factors.

While not an FE lady, I would say wear pants over wearing a skirt. You never know what you will be sitting on. From a chair to a low couch. Both men and women should really tone down cologne and perfume. Better not to wear it.

This is probably going to sound sexiest. The prettier and sexier you look the more toned down you should be. Not to an extreme of course. Two reasons, jealous wives and girlfriends and Viagra addled older Romeos.
