So I'm tired of watching these guys on youtube, telling me how good they are.

You tell me who's good.

And don't just say - "me".

Lets keep this practical as well. I want the best examples of people you've modelled or studied, and then used in real life, to positive effect.

Thank you.

I read & listen to a bunch of different people... and some are still alive! lol.

John Savage

Ben Feldman

Irwin Burt Meisel

Wayne Cotton... but I have yet to buy his $2,000 referral system.

Lew & Jeremy Nason of the Insurance Pro Shop. (Their training is simple and easy to communicate... and once an agent figures out that it's not what they know, but what they can communicate clearly... then they'll seek that training.)

In short, anyone that can help cut through all the 'BS' out there and help me focus on the right things to focus on.

Various other MDRT presentations on subjects that I'm interested in.

For some general sales/motivational stuff:

Zig Ziglar

Brian Tracy

Jim Rohn

Earl Nightingale

Stephen R. Covey

Jerry Clark (he does some MLM-type recordings that I've liked)

Sandy Schussel (for his referral training)

I get a little bit from everyone. Then it's up to me to determine how I apply various things in my own life... or not.

Good stuff man. Will google.

Rick at Top Gun Producers.

Granted... without Rick, I'm not sure I would've ever HEARD of John Savage, Ben Feldman, or Irwin Burt Meisel.

But it's not like he's the "be all and end all".

Oh, I forgot to add Joe Gandolfo to the list. I read one of his books back when I was 18 years old, so I guess it stuck. :)

A reading list of really good books is one of the things we got from Rick and from TGP. Most of the really goods books and people I now recommend I had never heard of before.

For insurance, I like Tom Hegna. I've seen some videos and interviews. Have not read his book yet.

I've been a student of Sandler training, which I like a lot. I have a local coach (not a well-known speaker).

Not insurance related, but I have always been inspired by Steve Jobs - especially the Stanford University Commencement speech.
