Who Will Treat Als "now"

Hello Everyone,

I'm working with a small group to get them some health insurance but one employee has ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's Disease. I'm licensed with Assurant and they will pay for his treatment but they and others want to wait a year before they pay for any treatment. The group wants immediate treatment. Do anyone know what company will pay for his treatment NOW. Premium is not an issue. Please let me know, this is very dear client of mine. Thank you

Hey there,

I'm in the state of Ohio and how do I get license with an HMO?

KP is an HMO. I got to think there is more than one HMO in OH.

Does the ALS guy have creditable coverage now? If so, I don't see how Time (or any other carrier) can force him to wait a year.

Of course if he doesn't have coverage now then what's the big deal?

BTW, expect a major RAF on this group.
