And women are not kept out. If anything, a woman has a much greater advantage when she walks in for an interview at a P&C company or NYL, NWM, etc.

So true. I remember when I first started my girlfriend and I worked one night. She was helping me because I was in a jam. We finished up and I asked her if she would cold call with me. We agreed to each cold call 100. She kicked my ass. I got one or two leads and I remember she got 13.

Women can do very well in financial services. I do think that people (men and women) lean towards men in terms of confidence BUT, on the other hand, the ladies are more trustworthy (we all remember our moms never screwing us over), they're non confrontational (easier to talk to), they listen better, etc.

It would be a good career for ladies.

You're right! I never thought of that; most tech recruiters ARE hot women! The last time I used a recruiter, I went through three of them without any results. Then I finally applied directly to a couple jobs and got one right away.
