I don't know if this was the facebook account or another site for the healthcare.gov on social media but they essentially said they would block the comments that were not germaine ie producers or anyone calling the law crap would be covered.

Always glad when my government wants to stifle my speech.

    • Sunghee Han what do you think about healthcare fild? after FTA between us vs kore.November 16, 2010 at 4:49pm · LikeUnlike ·
    • Philip Small No idea how healthcare is affected by FTA between US/Korea. But can comment that expats in Korea there to teach English very much appreciate Korea's excellent health care system. • Scott Thiltgen that's all good and find....but you still need to go through an insurance agent to help you pick the right plan for you as well as help get it underwritten and placed as well as help on getting claims paid down the line....local insurance brokers sell all these plans for the same price......November 17, 2010 at 9:47am · LikeUnlike
    • Philip Small Scott: I sincerely hope the agent system can reinvent itself to thrive in the face of the severe cost discipline imposed on administrative/brokerage fees by ACA. Fees from providers will shrink, and the total market for your services may w...ell shrink after 2014, however individual business success occurs independent of the overall trend. With 8500 private insurance plans (and growing) to choose among, we healthcare consumers certainly need your industry's independent expertise. Our business relationships with brokers will still come down to personal connections, and we will still gravitate to the higher quality providers. Your highest quality clients will be willing to pay you as we do our attorneys and accountants. Despite this shift to higher quality agent services, there will still be plenty of lower quality, and ineffective agents, and thankfully so. Otherwise there would be nobody for the better agents to refer their excess PITA clients to. Will Insurance Agents Be First Victims of Health Reform? - TIMESee More

    • Tony Nefouse Insurance finder? I would like to hear feedback from someone that has actually used the site to obtain a policy.November 17, 2010 at 12:33pm · LikeUnlike ·
    • Philip Small The more I sift through Find Insurance Options , the more awesome it is. I get 30 plans alone to choose from for my narrow requirement. Every state is completely different. Yet finder.healthcare is so EASY to use. Jargon is more ma...nageable than anything I have ever seen that is comparable from within the health insurance industry. That alone makes it remarkable. And then there is the site speed. so Fast. Nice work. quite the accomplishment. Compare to the IRS site, its hard to believe it came from the same government. Like Tony, I am really looking forward to hearing some actual feedback as folks start to use it through the final purchase decision.See More

TEXAS HEALTH INSURANCE-INSTANT ONLINE RATES AND APPLICATIONSNovember 18, 2010 at 12:43pm · LikeUnlike
    • Philip Small Scott: The national private service you are using for that, onlineinsurancecorp.com, has certainly done a good job. Kudos!

As expected, your site doesn't have quite as many providers as the State exchange site does, but http://stibroker.com.../ does take you to the major ones in Texas, and TEXAS HEALTH INSURANCE-INSTANT ONLINE RATES AND APPLICATIONS has instant quotes which the Texas state site should have but isn't there yet. With access to instant quotes, I prefer TEXAS HEALTH INSURANCE-INSTANT ONLINE RATES AND APPLICATIONS, of course.See More

My point exactly it can end up just like a talk show where the host uses the mute button and you end up with only a one sided version of things and I think we all know where HHS will be putting its time when it comes to blocking people....

I don't know. It looks like they are listing all of the posts. I am sure if you use profanity that it would get deleted

Damn. I had to "Like" that page before I could comment on the posts. I deleted that little status update from my wall right away...

I didn't even bother to leave the comment on there that I was going to. I could tell there were too many people that would not understand how a free market economy works versus a command economy.

Like the one guy who said he hoped Obamacare wasn't repealed due to his pre-x condition...When he was complaining about his premiums going up on his IN FORCE plan...Now that is special...
