X-dates for Homeowners leads

This may be a strange question, but why would someone call you from a postcard? Seems like old style marketing to me, unless the postcard is personalized somehow.

Mailings themselves are very, very, very tough to turn a profit with, doing it without a personal call to action will make the returns pretty low, in my opinion.

Mail 100 actual quotes out a week. You'll spend a bit more time but get a better return.

Dan

I have a direct mailing letter with quotes for each homeowner, but i decided to go the post card route for this year because i share the space with the CPA who wants to advertise his tax season services.

Also mine is somewhat very narrow targeted audience.

In my case, not true, I have my assistant send about 800 letters a month...400 every two weeks, and even considering what I pay her, supplies and bulk mail rate, all I need is 1-2 households a month for it to pay for itself. I normally get about 4 new households from these mailings. (I too use Cole).
