A lot of our area doesn’t have stable internet without going satellite once you get 10 miles from the center of town. We’re probably 10 years behind most people, but slowly catching up.

We only had 4 on our party line. Sometimes when us kids were bored, we'd listen to the neighbors phone calls.

We didn’t just listen. We’d jump in and say stupid things until they yelled, “You @#$& kids get off the #$&@ line or I’m telling your dad!” Then we’d hang up and roll on the ground with laughter. Always a hoot!
