Insured a father of a kid who was brutally beaten up 7yrs ago, but a lot of his injuries are permanent.

He has brain damage, he had a treachea <sp> hole to get enough oxygen, although they are about to close that back up, hes ok now. He primarily uses a wheelchair, but can walk some & feed himself.

In Calif, what are my options? Monu? UHL cant go under 45 here....anything else out there?

Wheelchair will put him graded with Monumental.

I wasnt expecting anything other then ROP, so graded is fine....I just wasnt sure about the wheelchair question in section 1 of Monu's app. I guess technically hes not confined to it, but uses it most of the time. And then the brain disease question in part 1 as well, but Im sure what this guy has got isnt "organic brain disease". And whats DEFINED as mental incapacity....he does some stuff on his own.

Whats funny is, IF he can say No to all the questions in part 1, he probably can in part 2 as well....there's really nothing about brain damage in that section. He might have been on oxygen before though, but I dont think in the last yr. So if he can past part 1, he might even be standard...but Im sure Im reaching.

What Monumental calls graded is ROP.
