35 Year Old with 2007 Felony

I wrote a guy yesterday with Americo. The only issue was that he had only been at his current address for 2 years, they ask for 5. The 15 years prior he was locked up for attempted murder. I wonder what Americo will say to that lol.

Just tell them to look on the bright side: He didn't succeed.

Columbian has two different plans with a limit of $25k. However, the rates and contracts are changing soon. They also have a GI plan as a fall back that is good through Dec 31.

What info do you have about the upcoming changes at Colombian? Understand there might be quite a few but I haven't heard any details.

As I am sure you are aware, Columbian has one of the only GI products for young people. I think it starts at age 25. Then they (Mutual)have the other as well. You can no longer buy both to get 50K. I understand those two products will merge as one. I have not heard whether the premium will be as reasonable as some of the others or what the face amount max is.

Then the classic series and other products may be combined as well. I like the New Century 0-80 with 25K max. The total in-house maximum for both Mutual and Col Life will (or is) be 25K.

You probably know more than I do. The synopsis is that the two companies offer the same products with different apps. In order to lower administrative costs, there will be some consolidation of forms/plans. The only sticker is that the NY products will have to be the same, or so I suppose. The result will be a simpler way for agents to sell what they offer - that works for the simple-minded like myself.:goofy:

The only thing I have been told is the permanent Protection Plan, which I beleive is only available in TN, will be axed. Hate that.. Even though it ahd a 10 year look back on cancer and a couple of other things, there were times when you could write it with immediate coverage that no one else would accept for anything other than graded.

Look at the Classic I, II, (Dignified Choice) and the New Century. I have not gotten the new rate books yet. I gotta run for now.:)

I am familiar with them.. The Dignified Choice is a mid range FE product. The Permanent Protector goes now to age 0 and will issue immediate coverage in some cases that would be graded on Dignified Choice.

Do you know if you can rewrite someone that lapsed with their GI? And what's their chargeback rule on advances with the GI?

Actually I think Mon would have a problem with this guy because of the probation
