I know deaths are normally up this time of year, seems like it may have started a little earlier.
Starting to get a bit of complex here... just informed today that I have another death claim to deal with...
last one (still working on it) was a 27 yr old and before that and a 68 year old before that...
Do claims seem to pick up close to the Holidays?
I think there's a correlation between that and the fact that Christmas music started earlier this year.
It's driving me into an early grave. Likely did the same to others.
Our local Walmart put up Christmas decorations the day after Halloween ... That, combined with the ridiculousness of Black Friday now starting on Thanksgiving Thursday, truly disgusts me. Especially as Thanksgiving was the one true, family holiday we as a nation had. In the past, twelve days of Christmas were more than enough. Now we need nearly 60. It's enough to make one say "Bah humbug!"
You are wrong! We as a nation have only ONE true and pure holiday left to call our own. And that, my friend is Ground Hog Day. The rest got taken over by Hallmark and the big box stores decades ago.
The hardest part of being an agent is losing a longtime client who you've gotten to know over many years. But it's also the most rewarding part, as you get to now do what they've been paying you for all those years.Gosh, Mine come in 2's and 3's too. I'll go 6 months without one and BAM! I'll get 2 or 3 in a row.
Some old clients of mine from 30 years ago are passing away now. Those really break my heart.
