5 Star Final Expense

I was trying to make a joke relating to Hoosierdaddy's post.:nah:

Hoosierdaddy - "They do not check prescriptions. So send them all your trash business... "

LOL. It's funny now that you explained it. I didn't get it before.

If you check the archives I would almost guarantee, that I was one of the 1st ones to mention them on the forum. I was kind of their "Billy The Kid" and made them famous. :)

I just want to help agents understand their underwriting so agents can get business issued.

I personally think it's not smart business for a company that is competitively priced with lenient health questions to only use MIB and not check prescriptions. Plus take credit cards and do monthly direct billing.

However that is good for agents. I just want to make sure all the good agents on this forum understand that in my opinion this product probably will not be around to long because they do not check prescriptions. So you better get while its around.

Several of us asked EFES to look into getting 5 Star. They did and 5 Star did not want to get on board with EFES because of the volume of business they would get and were not prepared for.

Travis (Hoosier Daddy) was the guy that introduced them to me. I had never heard of them before that (around 3-years ago.)

I wish I could comment on things like their underwriting, how fast they issue ect ect. Still have not received my first batch of apps yet after getting my welcome phone call 8 days ago. But...I can comment on what it's like trying to get ahold of someone over there. Think , kidney stones..
Just today, I called to see where my apps were, called 2 dif numbers, both referred me to a dif number. On the 3rd number, while being on hold forever , I took a dump, took a shower, got dressed then a rep finally came on ....and transferred me lol...Was eventually told my apps will be shipped out today.

Was the same when I was following up on my contracting status.

That's bs I don't need.
