I get plenty of continuing education on the job, and find continue education courses pretty worthless. For the continuing education, I just bang through the tests as quickly as possible and spend about a fraction of the required time on there.Nope. It has to be recorded that you were there for the entire 52 hours for your state's pre-licensing requirements.

If op's state is AZ and these examFX comments are true, the 52 hours must be a requirement of the course op has chosen.
