Do you have an opinion on who to choose for software?

----------

I am looking for a quick direct answer from anyone who has done the research I am late. I own a p&c biz and will be hitting health hard this year. Just need to buy software.

You don't need to 'buy' anything, just sign up for both on a 'per application' basis ($20 ACA Express, $25 Health Sherpa) and let the better man win. What could be any easier than this?

No, that would not be considered a submission and no fee would be charged.

That's good that you don't charge the fee if someone is sent to medicaid and doesn't choose a plan without APTC. But what if the person is eligible for APTC and chooses a carrier that I'm not appointed with? I'm assuming that you wouldn't charge the fee either. Is that right?

Haha... I probably can answer that one... Yes, you will pay up.....go get appointed with them. But kenny may surprise me......make me happy kenny, let's hear it

Hello Kenny,

Does your platform work for off exchange business as well and carriers that are direct and not through the Agent Pipeline connection?

Re: American Heroes

Looks like Health Sherpa stirred the wasps nest and then ACAExpress came along with Norvax and maybe some others.
I just wanted to let you guys know of another alternative which instead of really offering you only the enrollment service and selling you on a fixed amount per policy basis, they sell you the whole package:
-Quoting
-Personal home page
-CRM
-Application alternative to HealthCare.Gov (imbedded on your home page)
They're called "EBROKER SOFTWARE"
Web: Home | eBroker Software
You tube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4shFoWhBqc

Even though lengthy, the YouTube is impressive. Sincerely I think there solution blows everybody away, in visuals, quality, thoroughness, technology etc.
I'm not going to tell you all the details, but if you go through the video you'll know what I'm talking about and you also may understand what 'the others should strive for".
Price wise, it really adds up to the same. If your going to wright about 100 apps throughout open enrollment, your about even, if your over 100 it's even cheaper.

Thanks ameneses54! Just saw this. Full disclosure, I own this company. Some of our advantages are embedding quote engine into YOUR website via an API key ($199 fee for this, otherwise you get a "linkable" page included), no fee per enrollment, back end CRM, commission management, etc.

We are a Web Based Entity, like the others, so you can either use the double redirect or the side by side method to enroll (meaning you can bypass account creation, email verification, identity verification, etc., using side by side).

I'm sure the other software is very good too. We have linked up with some GA partners who can offer discounted pricing due to their volume, or sign up direct regardless of GA or lack thereof. Break even is about 4 enrollments/month or 48 for the full year (excluding the fee to embed software via API key).

Our downside is the # of states we support is low. We're working on that. It's looking a bit more promising, but we didn't want to overreach and focus on the quality of the software, not the # of states as much.

Apologies for breaking in on this thread. If someone wants to start an "eBroker" thread, I'll monitor that one and try and respond to questions!

Thanks again!

It looks like a great package-for next year.

Only available in 5 states right now, with OEP starting in 2 days it's not a viable option for my business at this point in time. I guess the one who posted this either works only in those states or didn't take the time to actually walk through the website sign up process.
