ACAexpress.com

Does anybody know what time the ACAExpress platform will be fully functional.
I was expecting it to start concomitantly with the launch of the government web site which at this moment is up and running.

I'm pretty upset it's not working, no word as to when it will be. I've had some site visits this morning, and all these potential clients are getting is an email saying "Thanks, check back on November 15th!" . So I can basically assume these are lost sales since they can currently go straight to healthcare.gov and enroll. I'll be planning on using the governments site for my phone appointments today also .....

Currently CMS is having issues with WBE (Web Broker Entities) connectivity and thus it is affecting all WBE's and insurance carriers to one extent or another. In fact, the system was working perfectly from beginning to end (complete enrollment in the CMS testing environment) all the way prior to when CMS turned on the ability for WBE's to submit actual applications early 11/15/2014.

The issues are not 100% unique to us:
- Aetna On Exchange quoting works BUT only with no subsidy estimate AND connection to Healthcare.gov is NOT active.
- United Healthcare Agent broker portal not active this morning, 'Website Not Available' message.
- Similar issues with other portals and insurance carriers.
- I also tested one of the other enrollment sites and got a reply saying (copy and paste) :"We will submit your application to the federal data hub and the insurer on 11/15, when open enrollment begins. You will receive a confirmation email when that happens." Two hours later and no confirmation received.

All of the above connect to CMS using the same protocols as ACAExpress

We are working as fast as we can with CMS and others to get the situation resolved and the site live as quickly as possible. To be clear, not blaming 100% on CMS though at this time can tell you 100% the system was working last night and many days prior beginning to end via the CMS testing environment which is supposed to be identical to what went live today other than the testing environment does not submit applications of course.

I will post updates as soon as possible here.

Me too I'm no the east coast and can't get past the ACA Staged page. I'm scheduled to start at 11AM.

I'm jumping on over the Health Sherpa for now-- just sent out updated emails to potential clients. At least on Sherpa we can view the plans, see subsidy eligibility, ect.
I'm planning on updating social media now to reflect my "new" client facing site. I'm new to the OEP but it definitely feels like shooting in the dark here.

Has anyone reached out to Barry about these problems?

Yeah, Barry & I were chatting about this on the phone this morning.
He said that the dummies who didn't choose HealthSherpa will just need to wade through his official website application process.
