Agent Expenses

Maybe if you would have just tried to help from the beginning this would be the only thread. So blame yourself genius.

I think what you'll find is outside of a few things, minor things, even as a captive the expenses are yours. You may get a desk in the "bull pen" (new agents office) and a phone for local calls, but that's about it.

NYL for example when I was there offers a training allowance. In essence double your commissions for your paid sales. However, it was based on paid cases only. You'll get help if you produce, but you have to produce. Because of industry turnover, most companies don't spend or pay alot in salary upfront. I could be wrong, it could be different, but I doubt it.

Expect to have expenses. You are going to be self employed, even as a captive. You'll just be answering to someone besides yourself. You'll find help with expenses comes with production. In other words those who do, get.
