Agent Rankings

Duhhh, I just noticed that this is the FE forum. :goofy:

Seems like MA's very limited in the FE companies available. There are a few MA agents on here. Maybe they can tell you the best companies to go with there.

Yeah everybody in Mass you speak to tries to tell you...

1. You "won't make any money selling FE"

2. They tell you that you should go going either Liberty Mutual or Mass Mutual.

3. Lincoln Heritage really the big one that is recruiting in this area.

Or . You go on craigs list and some guy is always recruiting and also offer IUL or Medicare along with FE.

Looking at FexQuotes, I think you could look at Oxford, Equitable and Foresters. They're all good. I'm not a FE guy, but you don't have a lot to choose from. If you're going to make a living selling FE, you should have Transamerica. Also pick up AIG for GI.You could cover most conditions with that line up and they're competitively priced.

I lead with Medicare Supplements and cross sell FE and ancillary products like dental and cancer insurance to them.

I don't mean that I don't sell FE, but it's an easier sale when cross selling it. Also a more desirable clientele. Not near as many cat piss soaked couches and bugs to deal with.

yeah the agents who have told me i wont make any money selling FE, have basically told me that alot of the job is chasing down pass due premiums payments, and trying to get ahold of clients who have the pass due payments.

I only chase them when they are "past" due.. :)( sorry I could not resist.)...There is no reason why an agent that chooses to cannot make a living selling FE to folks that do not live in slum conditions.. Even though I have taken most of this month off, I have sold 17 apps since June 1...None were in roach infested, cat piss homes. I did pull up to one hose that had trash piled to the ceiling of the porch with only a small walk way through it.. I drove on by. Might have been a great sale to be made but I will let someone else have it. Over the years I have come to believe that it is the people who take no pride in themselves or their surroundings are most likely the ones who will take no pride in keeping their insurance in force.
