Agents Need to Boycott Obamacrap

Some of us aren't driven by commissions. I for one just like helping my fellow man.

I enjoy enrolling the most medically expensive, heaviest subsidized people I can find. Want to make this ObamaCare castle come crashing down while its namesake is still in office!

Shame on US! Obama is a great president! His lies are only for our protection, He know all and sees all. We must let him lead us. Shame on us for working for money! We need to work for the good of the people! We, just need to explain this concept to the mortgage company, the gas and electric company, the grocery store, etc. SHAME ON US ALL!

AC,

I'm with you. A lot of us are. It's not a conscious effort, that just seems to be the people that want and are eligible for it. Some of the lowest income, highest claim clients I've ever seen have been written into exchange products these past months.

On the flip side, I've only seen one healthy/young person come in.

To be working for nothing because of government meddling is not my idea of helping my fellow man. Besides this whole thing is funded by taking money (taxes) away from us.

It wouldn't be the first contract that fell through in my lifetime. I'm in this help people, I would like to get paid, but I can't worry about that at this point. Renewals will keep me going regardless of whether or not this works out.

I didn't agree with this, didn't vote for it, but it's law. I'm here to help people understand their options. Not stopping because I think the law is a mess, which it is.

We're never going to get paid. It's pretty obvious.

Why are we helping the socialists by enrolling people?

Rick

I have sinned!

First off this redistribution of wealth and take over of the medical system is completely against my values! Yet I was willing to write exchange applications. I have written 6 applications and it has been a complete and absolute load in my shorts! Not to mention a complete time drain that I could be spending generating more productive business. I will be shocked if I get a livable commission or a commission at all from these policies in two to three years.

Finally the clients overall are not good long term clients. In General they want everything paid for medical, dental, vision, mental health, etc. and don't want to pay for it.

I was a dumb ass and a sell out and now have seen the light. Please welcome me back into the flock!

I'm all for the boycott!

If the government can force people to buy insurance and force insurance companies to offer it without underwriting, what's to keep them from forcing agents to sell it for no commission. The country has been seized because the majority of voters want Obama and the gov. To take care of them for "free".

Agreed, I think the state exchanges will want there piece of our commissions. Cover Oregon collects the brokers commissions from the insurance companies. You know when that is up and running there is little need for an agent and they will start taking a piece of our commission. Washington and California commissions go direct to the agent so it may be a little more difficult but I'd be surprised it they don't grab there piece of our commissions. The insurance companies will put the squeeze on us as well.

This is just temporary business, best thing we can do is educate as many people we can how really horrendous this is!
