If you're getting chargebacks it might be time to think about another career. Chargebacks are a non-issue regarding advances if you're selling the correct way.

....I'm all ears - how are the carriers more helpful. In fact, direct agents are often told to push the wrong plans...direct from the carrier. I've also been to more than my fair share of carrier seminars. Their knowledge is pathetic - at best.

I'm with John on this one. If you write good biz, advances are great. With the increased upfront revenue to reinvest in your business, you can grow exponentially faster than as-earned.

It's no great mystery. Start out with advances and infuse cash into your business. Save money and switch to as-earned. It's not rocket science.

So the consensus seems to be that ACHP is a good organization? I have a meeting with them this week.
