Hahaha, but it says right in the brochure that "If you are between the ages of 50 and 85, regardless of health, you will not be turned down.""Do you take someone who's 49?"
"Let me place you on hold."
And that's where it ends.

You make a good point about questioning the need to speak with an underwriter. Actually I meant to say the new business department, as on two instances there were circumstances where Aig had a question where they could not verify something they wanted. one was an email identity. It was a ridiculous situation. My clients identity had been stolen. The situation was a bit complicated to say the least. I needed to be able to speak with someone, a manager of some form would have been nice. However I never got past the young lady who could only email some one. They would not issue the policy with out clearing the situation up, and yet I could not talk with anyone who had the authority to make a decision. Why would you need to talk to an underwriter for a GI policy?
Sadly, I have been trying to get contracted with them since Dec 2nd of 2017!
Yes, I said it. Dec 2 2017
Not casting stones at anyone. However, it is getting old.
Senior Life to the rescue!!!Wow! That is totally unacceptable. Here's a piece of info to share with everyone concerning Sr Life Ins. Co.:
-You contract online....takes about 10-15 min.
-You'll receive your agent # in 12 -24 hours via email!
-You'll be appointed with your state DOI in less than 48 hours.
I just can't figure out why the other carriers take a week or longer to do what can be taken care of in 48 hours. SL is not perfect, but they do seem to take better care of their agents that a lot of other carriers I see mentioned up here.
And their GI, while not the cheapest but priced for profit so they can continue offering it, is for ages 0-85, not the usual ages 50-80.
If anyone has questions or would like help contracting call me. ..252-292-3350.

What's the commission on that GI?
I'm not interested in SL myself, but for those that might be...what's street for your GI product? 25%?Depends on what a person brings to the table....production. How much does your team do on average per week?
It would depend on what they bring to the table.
